Government Community Source Solutions are software applications, written in a variety of technologies (including Open Source), that can be transferred from one government agency or department to another - typically from one state to another state among similar agencies.
Community Source Solutions can be up and running for 10%-30% of the cost of COTS(commercial-off-the-shelf) solution. We have found that most Community Source Solutions map to 70% - 90% of the receiving agency's requirements.
